The Daily Mail has printed 2 connected articles today in their Financial Mail section exposing the true cost of a free or cheap will from banks (and I would argue charities).

Although one of the headlines is, misleadingly I believe, 'How will writers and banks ruthlessly cash in on death'.

In fact the articles conclude that independent will writers - providing they are trained and are members of the Institute of Profesisonal Will Writers or the Society of Will Wrters - provide good value.

Why go to a solicitor where you have to travel to him/her, find somewhere to park, wait for them to come free for your appointment and then spend only about 20 minutes giving your instructions without having much of what is happening explained?

I come to your home at your convenience and spend a couple of hours chatting to you, getting to understand your family circumstances and what you wish to achieve and taking your instructions for less than the average a solicitor will charge.
